STEPHEN M. BROWN, P. E. - PRESIDENT
Steve attended the University of Maryland, College Park. He has been working with the firm since 1986. He has been involved as a project manager on over 1200 jobs and is the I.T. manager. Steve oversees the firm’s engineering, computer needs and day to day operations.
TIMOTHY M. SIBOL, P. E. - PRINCIPAL
Tim began with Skarda and Rickert in 1980. He received his B.S.C.E. from Virginia Tech and is a P.E. in several states.
CLAYTON M. SHANK, P.E., CHIEF ENGINEER
Clay has over 49 years of engineering experience. He has worked on over 1,500 jobs since his early beginnings with Skarda and Rickert. Clay has performed designs from house framings to 16 story structures and is knowledgeable in all types of framing systems. Clayton has been retained as an expert structural engineer for testimony on several construction litigations.
